Who we are -What we do

LSWLDA

Formed in 1921 Liverpool and South West Lancashire District Association (LSWLDA) is a proud and active part of the Camping and Caravanning Club and its North West Region. Our members organise a variety of meets during the year and make everyone feel welcome.

DA camping gives the freedom to camp in many otherwise inaccessible places, often not far from home, without having to book months in advance – and importantly – at a reasonable cost.

Organisers and stewards are all volunteers so please feel free to muck in and lend a hand!

We host a number of meets throughout the year, consisting of:

Weekend meets (2-5 nights)

Temporary Holiday Site ‘THS’ meets (6-28 nights) and

Special Events/Themed meets (these can be over a weekend meet or a THS).

Whichever you decide to attend you’ll have a great time with amazing likeminded campers.

THE SOCIABLE DA

Loyalty Card Scheme

We have a Loyalty Card Scheme, by attending our meets you can earn credits to qualify for free nights camping.

Ask your Steward for a Loyalty Card at your next meet. Each card must be completed and signed by the Steward, once your meet fee has been paid.

One stamp for each night paid for.

One card per unit and twenty nights stamped is equal to two free nights.

When full the cards must be redeemed and a new card issued. All completed Cards when redeemed will be entered into a draw at the LSWLDA Annual General Meeting for a prize of £50. The Winning Card holder MUST be present at the AGM.

Cards are not to be used at Regional or National meets, Club Site meets or against Pre-booked meets, like the New Year Meet. The card ceases to have any value when the last stamp is over 12 months old, or your Club membership ceases.
